Fox News host Bill O’Reilly last night stuck it to President Obama and his somewhat controversial inauguration speech. Like other voices on his network, O’Reilly criticized the president for failing to address more directly the economy, national debt and the like, and for hovering too much on matters of social justice. “The federal government cannot provide for 320 million people,” he said.
Fair enough. But then he gets predictive, saying, “Unless there is a radical change in the president’s thinking, few problems will be solved in the next four years.” And it’s here that Fox News viewers should bring on the skepticism, given how on-target O’Reilly’s predictions about the president’s first term turned out to be.
