HTC Flyer ad released to YouTube

Showing off the specs of its upcoming Flyer tablet, HTC has released a six-minute video touting the gadget’s best assets to YouTube.

The video heavily plays up the advantages of the Flyer’s stylus, which lets you highlight, draw, write, highlight and collate notes. It can also use its Timemark feature to archive audio with your meeting notes. It also syncs your notes to the organizational app Evernote.

The video also shows off the tablet’s gaming capabilities, promising console-quality gaming. The games are offered in partnership with the cloud gaming service OnLive, the only tablet out there that offers that service.

The Wi-fi version of the HTC Flyer is supposed to hit Best Buy sometime this spring. A 4G Sprint version, called the HTC EVO View, is expected this summer. There have also been unconfirmed rumors of a T-Mobile version of the Flyer.

The Flyer will run Android 2.2 Gingerbread with the option to upgrade to Honeycomb.
