The store has been taking in-store pre-orders since last week, but online pre-orders now place the tablet’s launch date some time in late May.

The Flyer, a 7-inch tablet that integrates the use of a stylus, will retail for $499.99, the same price point as the iPad 2.

Sprint will launch a WiMax-enabled version of the Flyer this summer as the HTC EVO View 4G.
