The company announced the partnership Thursday morning, saying that HTC has been working with Beats by Dr. Dre to make smartphones and other devices with high-quality audio.

The line will debut this fall, HTC said it its press release.

Beats will continue to be an autonomous company with Jimmy Iovine continuing as as chairman. The audio company’s partnerships with Monster Cable, Hewlett-Packard and Chrysler will also continue.

“For Beats by Dr. Dre, this represents a critical step in our continued mission to clean up the destruction of audio caused by the digital revolution; and reengineer how sound is delivered so that the consumer feels the music the way that the artist intended,” Iovine said of HTC partnership.
