iPad 2 shipping wait time at 3-4 weeks

A bit of good news for those still waiting to order the iPad 2 online: at last glance, the shipping estimate for the tablet has gone down to three to four weeks from four to five weeks.

MacRumors reported that its readers have said more stock is filtering through to Apple stores and that shipments of iPad 2 orders are “beginning to come through in larger quantities.”

The iPad 2 launches internationally on Friday in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

MacRumors also reported that in Australia and New Zealand, where it’s already Friday, the online wait time is two to three weeks.
