Nintendo announced today that it will release The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the 3DS on June 19.

The game is probably one of the most-anticipated games for Nintendo’s new handheld, which suffers a bit from a lackluster selection of games at launch.

Originally released in 1998, the game has also been ported to the Game Cube and the Wii. The 3DS version adds a second quest, dubbed the “Master Quest,” with revamped puzzles and new dungeons that fit in with the game’s overall aesthetic.

The game launches a week after the Electronic Entertainment Expo, E3, so we can definitely expect to see a lot of promotion from Nintendo at the show.
