As CNET reported Thursday, the problem seems to occur when customers try to reconnect to the 3G network after they’ve turned it off once before. Complaints continue to grow Friday morning as more users report the problem.
Users are reporting that the best way to solve the problem is to turn on cellular data and reboot the whole tablet.
At least one user who took his iPad 2 to his local Apple Genius Bar said that the technician he spoke to diagnosed it as a software problem.
