The 0.5 percent pay increase the White House proposed for federal workers in January wouldn’t mean much extra cash for most federal workers.
But other proposals are even less generous: The House Republican budget plan released Tuesday would freeze federal pay for another three years, and the House voted last month to freeze federal pay for at least this year.
