Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan said receiver Anthony Armstrong, fullback Darrel Young and safety DeJon Gomes all remained limited in practice because of hamstring injuries.

●Shanahan said he is stressing strong concentration in the next few days to avoid players looking ahead to the bye week break, which begins Wednesday.

●The team won’t practice with pads this week so players can heal from a physical game Monday. Instead, the Redskins have worn shells and done less hitting.

●The running opportunities were limited in the second half of Monday’s game, but Shanahan said he remains committed to the ground game and wants to rank among the top 10 in the league in rushing attempts.

●Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said he was happy with Chris Cooley’s play at fullback.

●Kyle Shanahan said the team’s red zone execution “is about normal” through three weeks but said last game’s struggles were because of limited opportunities inside the 20.
