Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley will host his third annual Cooley’s for the Cure auction to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer from 7-10 p.m., Monday, Oct. 10, at Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm in Broadlands.

The event is held in honor of Cooley’s mother, Nancy, a breast cancer survivor.

General admission tickets to the auction cost $65 and include food and an open beer and wine bar. Tickets can be purchased at the door or going to www.thecooleyzone.com.

The auction will feature game-worn memorabilia signed by Cooley as well as his pottery and drawings. Some of Cooley’s teammates also have donated a variety of Redskins memorabilia, including autographed jerseys, footballs and helmets.

The proceeds will be donated to the IIIB’s Foundation, which helps comfort women through the pain associated with breast cancer surgery and treatment, and the Reinsch Pierce Family Center for Breast Health at Virginia Hospital Center.
