Briscoe caught a touchdown pass from rookie quarterback Kirk Cousins in the Redskins’ second preseason game in Chicago. His touchdown Saturday was delivered by Rex Grossman.

“He’s had a couple opportunities and taken advantage of those opportunities,” Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan said of Briscoe, who was claimed by the Redskins off waivers last month after he was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
