Washington Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan said that receiver Anthony Armstrong was limited in practice as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

Cornerback Phillip Buchanon was limited with a neck injury and running back Tim Hightower was limited as he comes back from a shoulder injury.

Fullback Darrel Young again practiced fully after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury.

The team practiced in the rain and Shanahan joked that it elected not to use its practice bubble on Wednesday. The weather prevented further progress on construction of the structure. The coach said nobody knows when construction will be complete.

Shanahan said that his players understand the importance of this game, aren’t looking beyond Sunday and know a long season still remains ahead of them.

Shanahan said although the team leads the division, “we’re four games into the season. First place is the furthest thing from my mind.”

Shanahan is 10-5 following bye weeks. He said being able to have a few extra days to study his opponents’ schemes helps a good deal.

Shanahan talked about last year’s blowout loss to the Eagles when addressing players and reminded them of their shortcomings in that game.
