Quick hits: Santana Moss might play at Seattle

Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said receiver Santana Moss remained sidelined Thursday as he recovers from a broken hand. But Shanahan said there’s a chance Moss could play at Seattle Nov. 27.

Also missing practice again Thursday were guard Maurice Hurt (knee), safety LaRon Landry (Achilles), linebacker Keyaron Fox (infection) and receiver Niles Paul (toe).

Linebacker London Fletcher (ankle) and right tackle Jammal Brown (groin) were limited in practice.

Shanahan said he thought the helmet-to-helmet hit called on rookie Ryan Kerrigan Sunday was a bad call.

Shanahan said he remains confident that the running game will get back on track. “It will. I promise you that,” he said

Shanahan said he’s pleased with how linebacker Perry Riley performed in his first start, both in pass coverage and against the run.
