ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.—Adam Gettis is scheduled to start at right guard for the Washington Redskins in Thursday night’s preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills, the team has announced.
Gettis gets the start in place of Chris Chester, who suffered a sprained ankle this week.
That leaves the Redskins without three injured starters on their offensive line. Tyler Polumbus will start at right tackle in place of Jammal Brown, and Maurice Hurt will start at left guard for Kory Lichtensteiger.
Leonard Hankerson is scheduled to start at the wide receiver spot opposite Pierre Garcon, the Redskins announced. Chris Cooley is listed as the starter at fullback with Darrel Young sidelined.
