In addition to starting strong safety LaRon Landry, the Washington Redskins will be without left guard Maurice Hurt, who started the last two games, as they take on the Dallas Cowboys Sunday.

Landry is out with a sore left Achilles’ tendon, while Hurt was sidelined with a knee injury for all of last week’s practices.

Also inactive for the Redskins are wide receivers Santana Moss (who is recovering from a broken hand) and Niles Paul (turf toe), linebacker Keyaron Fox (infection) and cornerback D.J. Johnson.

Running back Tashard Choice will suit up for his first game as a Redskin after being inactive for his first two weeks with the team. Right tackles Jammal Brown and Sean Locklear, who had been limited by groin and ankle injuries, respectively, also will dress. But it remains unclear who will start at right tackle.

The likely candidate to start at left guard is Tyler Polumbus, who despite being a tackle, took snaps at guard this week. Either veteran Reed Doughty or rookie DeJon Gomes will start at strong safety. Free safety Oshiomogho Atogwe practiced fully for the first time in three weeks and is expected to return to the starting lineup.
