Redskins re-sign DE Darrion Scott

The Washington Redskins on Monday announced the re-signing of backup defensive end Darrion Scott.

Scott, a five-year veteran who appeared in seven games for Washington last season — recording four tackles — would have become an unrestricted free agent on March 13th.

Terms of the the contracts were not released. Scott last season played on a $685,000 salary.

The Redskins also officially announced the re-signing of center Will Montgomery, who agreed to terms for a four-year deal last Friday, and confirmed his signing last Saturday.
