Redskins’ Ryan Torain makes case for starting job with strong showing vs. Rams

Redskins running back Ryan Torain has a habit of doing good things in St. Louis. A year ago, as an unknown running back he rushed for 36 yards on his first carry with the Redskins, just two days after being activated from the practice squad.

Sunday, Torain came off the bench for an ineffective Tim Hightower and rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.

Shanahan didn’t say who would start against the Eagles on Oct. 16, but has a decision to make. If it was up to you, who would you start in the Redskins’ backfield?
