The Redskins announced the signing of all 12 draft picks and the team in the last 24 hours have released another six players, most of them members of their practice squad at some point last season.

Safety Macho Harris, wide receiver Taurus Johnson, defensive tackle Rashaad Duncan, running back Shawnbrey McNeal, wide receiver Maurice Price and safety Sha’reff Rashad all are no longer on the roster.

Harris, the former Virginia Tech standout, played in three games last season, starting one of them. He joined the Redskins two days before Thanksgiving after being released by the Eagles in the preseason.

Rashad appeared in one game for Washington. He and Harris were part of a crowded safety corps that includes LaRon Landry, O.J. Atogwe, Kareem Moore, Chris Horton and Anderson Russell.

The other players never played a game for Washington.

Washington currently has 61 players on its roster, although more are likely to trickle in throughout the day. The flow of news will be a little slow for a bit this morning as phones — and Twitter — are not allowed at closed practices, but we’ll be back with developments as soon as possible.
