Today would have been the 28th birthday of former Redskins’ All-Pro safety Sean Taylor, who was slain in November 2007. Redskins players and fans alike have yet to forget the hard-hitting, big play safety.

I wasn’t covering the team during Taylor’s time with the Redskins, but his fumble recovery and return that set up Washington for a game-winning field goal over Dallas, and his bone-crushing hit on Brian Moorman in the Pro Bowl always come to mind when Taylor is mentioned.
