There was no sign of Ryan Torain as the Washington Redskins went through Thursday morning’s walk-through portion of Day 7 at training camp.

The running back, who injured his wrist as he was tackled on Wednesday, was scheduled to see a hand specialist later last evening. Torain watched Wednesday evening’s walk-through with his hand heavily wrapped and in a splint.

Coach Mike Shanahan was asked about Torain’s health as he walked off the field Thursday morning and said he will have an update later today.

That left 87 of the 89 players under contract in attendance. The other missing player, punter Sav Rocca, is still trying to obtain a visa so he can play in the U.S. Shanahan was hopeful Rocca will arrive Monday.

Newly re-signed Redskins Rocky McIntosh and Reed Doughty both watched the walk-through, along with the other veteran signed free agents.

They must wait until the new collective bargaining agreement is ratified and are expected to begin participating at today’s 4 p.m. practice. The team usually has its actual practice in the morning and walk-through in the afternoon, but flip-flopped the schedule today so the new additions will be able to practice..
