Two DBs miss Redskins practice

The Redskins were without two defensive backs at practice Thursday. According to the injury report, cornerback Byron Westbrook (hamstring) and safety Oshiomogho Atogwe (knee) both sat out practice. Cornerback DeAngelo Hall (toe) was limited.

As expected, tackle Trent Williams (ankle) was out of action. Receiver Anthony Armstrong (hamstring), cornerback Phillip Buchanon (neck) and running back Tim Hightower (shoulder) all participated fully Thursday.

Three Carolina players missed Thursday’s practice: tight end Jeremy Shockey, linebacker Omar Gaither and safety Jordan Pugh.
