Tim Hightower is slated to play Saturday

Running back Tim Hightower will play Saturday against Indianapolis “if there’s no setback” with his surgically repaired left knee, coach Mike Shanahan said Thursday.

But running back Evan Royster will miss the game with an inflamed right knee and running back Roy Helu Jr. also will sit because of tendinitis in both Achilles’ tendons.

Shanahan said guard Chris Chester (ankle) made it through the week of practice and will play against the Colts.
