Young, Bowen, Landry miss practice again

The Washington Redskins practiced without fullback Darrel Young, defensive end Stephen Bowen and strong safety LaRon Landry for a second straight day, according to the team’s injury report.

Young remained sidelined with a concussion while Bowen continues to recover from a torn PCL in his left knee. Landry is nursing a groin injury.

Linebacker London Fletcher (ankle) returned to practice in a limited capacity after sitting out Wednesday’s session. Also limited were wide receivers Jabar Gaffney (foot) and Terrence Austin (hamstring), linebacker Brian Orakpo (ankle) and right tackle Jammal Brown (hip).

Practicing fully despite injuries were quarterback Rex Grossman (shoulder), guard Maurice Hurt (knee), receiver Donte Stallworth (foot) and safety DeJon Gomes (knee).

On the Jets’ side, offensive lineman Mike DeVito (knee) sat out practice for a second straight day while fellow lineman Vlad Ducasse (knee) was limited again.

Practicing despite ailments were defensive lineman Marcus Dixon (shoulder), running backs Shonn Green (rib) and LaDanian Tomlinson (knee), offensive linemen Nick Mangold (ankle) and Matt Slauson (knee), receiver Jeremy Kerley (knee) and defensive back Brodney Pool (knee).
