2011 Restaurant Week dates announced

It’s that time of year again: The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington has announced this summer’s Restaurant Week dates. Start making your reservations for the week of August 15, when you can enjoy $20.11 lunches and $35.11 dinners at restaurants across town.

We have written extensively about the twice-a-year food event in the past, including in haiku form. Some say the cut-price meals are a steal; others argue you get what you pay for.

Keep your eyes on this spot; we’ll have more information soon, including participating restaurants, menus and the inevitable extensions.
