If you want to know about the coolest “camp” before it goes mainstream, head to Capitol Skyline Hotel for Brightest Young Things’ Hipster Camp, where DJs will be spinning the deepest cuts from the most obscure bands and every brand of Wayfarer sunglasses will be on display. Fifteen bucks gets you a burger and unlimited pool time.

The Discovery Channel’s annual “Shark Week” begins on Sunday, and you and your family can get an early start with Shark Weekend at the National Aquarium. You can see live shark feedings and sit in on educational discussions about the ocean’s most notorious predators, plus there will be a scavenger hunt and other fun activities for the kids.

Did the U.S. Women’s World Cup game get you jonesing for more soccer? Head down to Kastles Stadium for a Celebrity Soccer Challenge hosted by Mia Hamm, a former World Cup player herself, and husband Nomar Garciaparra.
