“Gr8 place for Russian food in DC!!!” the star left wing tweeted. (Mari Vanna’s Facebook page has more photos of the Ovi encounter.) The restaurant, at 1141 Connecticut Ave. NW, won’t begin serving its full menu of hearty Russian staples until Jan. 17. Until then, you can drop in for a free shot of house-infused vodka after 4 p.m. any night except Sunday.
