Delaplane Strawberry Festival — This annual festival celebrates the tragically short local strawberry season with a weekend of children's games, hayrides and concerts on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. On the menu: crab cakes, funnel cake and strawberry sundaes. $20-$25 per car.

Fuel Pizza & Wings — The Southern import is offering its customers a reason to stick around town on Monday by bringing the flavors of the beach to the District. For $7 you can sit down with an Old Bay Crab pizza and a house-made margarita.

Hill Country Memorial Day Sunday Supper — The Penn Quarter barbecue barn is hosting a special supper downstairs on Sunday. The all you can eat picnic buffet will feature smoked cowboy burger, all beef pit-smoked hot dogs and market chicken. During the meal there will be a gospel music performance from 6-7:30 p.m. $20, children 12 and under $10.

Policy Crab Festival — At this 14th Street night spot, $45 gets you all you can eat crabs and fixings on Monday from noon-5 p.m.

Restaurant 3 — Specials on Maryland and Virginia oysters highlight this Clarendon’s restaurants Sunday night celebration. From 5-9 p.m. enjoy oysters Rockefeller, oysters on the half shell, oyster shooters and oyster stews at what is being called the Oystravaganza.

Rockville Hometown Holidays — On Saturday-Monday from 1-10 p.m., Rockville celebrates the coming of summer with concerts and shows on eight stages and tastes from over 20 local restaurants for $1.25 per ticket. On Monday there is a parade from 9 a.m.-noon.
