“A bunch of backordered stuff all came in at once,” reports general manager Gordon Banks, and now the Quarry House has more kegs of beer than it can comfortably hold in its Silver Spring basement.

The solution? A “fire sale” with excellent microbrews selling for $4 a pint until further notice.

Stillwater Stateside Saison, Weyerbacher Double Simcoe, Flying Dog Single Hop Chinook Imperial IPA, Boulder Beer Hazed and Confused and Sierra Nevada Torpedo are among the first brews to hit the taps, but as they run out, they’ll be replaced by something completely different. When a beer’s gone, it’s gone, though you can probably expect to find something else tasty in its place.

On National Cheeseburger Day, it’s hard to think of a better place to head after work.
