During a ceremony of remembrance at the Titanic Memorial, Waterfront Park will be lit by 1,547 lights, representing those who died; 50-foot-high images of the ship and her passengers will be projected on nearby buildings; and an orchestra will perform “Nearer My God to Thee.”
