Every month, we pick 20 shows you can’t miss. See our list of November’s best concerts and read on for some highlights.

November’s biggest show comes when Jay-Z and Kanye West bring their “Watch the Throne” tour to the Verizon Center. A concert by either of rap’s biggest stars would be a highlight. Put them on a stage together and you have Concert of the Year possibilities.

Another day to mark on your calendar: Nov. 12. That afternoon, in conjunction with the “Warhol: Headlines” exhibit, Dean & Britta play a free concert at the National Gallery to provide a live score to Warhol’s famous screen test short films. In the evening, indie rock good guy Ted Leo plays a benefit show at Sacred Heart Church.

And with Fall Massive, featuring dozens of top DJs (including Moby, Diplo and Armand Van Helden), rave culture takes over the grounds of RFK Stadium the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.

Check out the complete list of November’s 20 best concerts, including country brooder Jamey Johnson, metal heroes Anthrax and Malian guitar explorers Tinariwen.
