“Song 1,” the light projection that bathes the Hirshhorn’s circular exterior, has been extended through May 20, but the real party comes Friday when noisy art-punks No Age, minimalist composer Nicolas Jaar, sound collagist Oneohtrix Point Never and beat-heavy duo High Places will provide the soundtrack to Doug Aitken’s moving images.

On Sunday Saturday, to wrap up the Kennedy Center’s “Look Both Ways: Street Arts Across America” festival, 25 performers take over Yards Park for a day-long program of eclectic artists and street performers.

And if all that has you feeling a little inspired, head to Dupont Circle for Dance in the Circle. At 3 p.m., several local dance companies will be performing their works and offering dance lessons. Then at 8 p.m., the whole thing evolves into a big dance party.
