View Photo Gallery: More than any other First Family in recent memory, Barack and Michelle Obama have embraced the local restaurant scene. We’ve compiled a list of destinations where at least one of them has dined (though what they actually ate is often a state secret), along with commentary from Washington Post food critic Tom Sietsema. It may have been a few days late, but last Wednesday, President Obama made good on his promise to treat Michelle to a 20th anniversary celebration with a little more ambiance than the first Presidential debate. Bourbon Steak, the posh steakhouse in the Four Seasons, served as an antidote to the University of Denver auditorium. Though chef Adam Sobel tweeted (and quickly deleted) a shot of a special menu prepared for the first family, he tells Obama Foodorama that Barack and Michelle ultimately chose to a la carte.
