The Nats just won the 2012 home opener in satsifyingly straightforward dramatic fluky fashion, pushing their early season record to 5-2. It’s a good start, not the kind of start that makes you say, “There’s no way they can keep this up,” but the sort of methodical, workmanlike record that a team with playoff aspirations should have through seven games.

Let’s all throw caution to the wind and get on the bandwagon, shall we? We’re excited to check out Nationals Park 80 more times this season, and you should be too. Not only is the team on the field promising, but there’s all kinds of new (or just very, very delicious) food, drink and entertainment options open or coming soon to the stadium and surrounding neighborhood.

Check out the gallery at the top of this post for a glimpse of Nationals Park, beyond peanuts and Cracker Jack.
