Common ground — Last night’s debate might have seemed testy. But it turns out that the candidates are more simpatico than you’d think. Here’s the transcript.

Wacky candidates — Lots of oddballs on the ballots this cycle, but our colleague David Farenthold thinks he’s found 2012’s worst candidate. Mark Clayton of Tennessee represents the Democrats’ disaster: like “falling down a flight of stairs onto a whoopee cushion.”

EHN forever — An interesting profile of Eleanor Holmes Norton, who — vote or no vote — is still prickly and outspoken.

What not to wear— GQ gives makeovers to male Hill staffers. Trade the baggy Men’s Warehouse duds for “aggressively tailored” suits and they’re suddenly stylish (if not comfortable).
