Rolling deep — Former senator Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) is bringing some heavy-hitting wingmen to the hearing on his nomination to be secretary of defense taking place in the Senate Armed Services Committee. Two former chairmen of that panel, former senators Sam Nunn (D-Ga.) and John Warner (R-Va.), will introduce Hagel.
