White House falls again to pot lobby

The pot lobby triumphed against the White House — at least on the softball field.

The One Hitters, the team fielded by a coalition of pro-marijuana lobbying groups, defeated STOTUS (the Softball Team of the U.S., natch) 5-2 in a matchup Wednesday night on the Ellipse.

That was a pretty respectable effort by the feds, who lost last year’s matchup by an embarrassing 25-3.

From the One Hitters’s Twitter feed:

I'm convinced Barack sent a memo recruiting all varsity level interns to show up. Glad we beat them anyway. #performanceenhancinginginterns
