This is one way to watch Hitchcock’s ‘Rear Window’

In this July 26, 1971, file photo, British film producer and director Alfred Hitchcock, right, discusses filming with actress Anna Massey. (Leonard Brown/AP)

It was a busy day for me here at Ideas@Innovations — something having to do with a flying car.

But, before I left for the night, I wanted to share this amazing panoramic time-lapse of Alfred Hitchock’s “Rear Windowcreated by Jeff Desom.

It’s a fascinating combination of footage, which Desom says on his Vimeo page came entirely from the film. The finished product is in chronological order, the events of one of the filmmaker’s many masterpieces presented in a unique and, dare I say, innovative way.

Thanks to the folks at Devour for putting this in my path.
