Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) is being greeted in Wisconsin with a new video from the Republican Governors Association that highlights his tax increases back home.

O’Malley, the chairman of the Democratic Governors Association, is scheduled to appear Thursday alongside Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (D), who is attempting to replace Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) in a high-profile recall election on Tuesday.

In a not-so-friendly video featuring a blues tune, the RGA mixes images of O’Malley with newspaper clips about tax hikes during his tenure, including an increase signed this month on six-figure earners.

“Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is in Wisconsin campaigning for Tom Barrett,” the ads says. “Meanwhile, Marylanders are singing the blues about Gov. O’Malley’s tax hikes.”

O’Malley has two stops planned Thursday: one at a field office in Madison, the other at a Barrett debate watch party in Milwaukee.
