Vincent Gray’s birthday party will have 200 hosts

Last week, you’ll recall, I noted that planning was underway for a massive 70th birthday bash for Mayor Vincent C. Gray — including recruiting for the all-important host committee list.

Well, the invites are out, and there will be no shortage of hosts — roughly 200, in fact, will be helping to “hit a home run” for Gray’s constituent service fund. The list is a who’s-who of old friends and lawyers and lobbyists and activists and developers and city contractors and other big machers who often show up on these sorts of things.
