Game 6 discussion thread: Nationals at Marlins

The Nationals will try to avoid a sweep tonight, but it won’t be easy. They will have beat Josh Johnson, who did not allow a hit in his first start of the season, against the Mets, until the seventh inning. (It was broken up, incidentally, by Willie Harris.) The Nationals actually had moderate success against Johnson last season, scoring five runs against him in his first two outings, including one when Matt Chico beat him. In his final showing against the Nats last year, he shut them out for six innings, but they did manage seven hits.

Nationals starter John Lannan started the only Nationals victory of the season, a five-inning outing truncated by a rain delay. He continued the success he had last season once he returned from his detour to Class AA Harrisburg. Should be a good pitching matchup.

As always, talk about the game right here.
