Jayson Werth out of tonight’s Nationals lineup

Jayson Werth, who came out of last night’s game after seven innings with tightness in his legs, is off today. Werth said he would be fine, but Davey Johnson does not want to wear Werth out. Because he missed three months with a broken wrist, Werth is essentially still playing himself back into regular-season shape. The Nationals are facing right-hander Jordan Lyles.
