Either way, history will be made at Nats Park on Friday night. If lefty John Lannan can lead the Nationals to a victory, he would set a new career-high with 10 wins and his team would set a new single-season record for home victories. The Nats currently have 41 wins at Nats Park, which matches the number of home wins in 2005 and 2006 at RFK Stadium and last season. The Nats have won five games in a row and would move another step closer to matching the season-high with eight.

If the last-place Marlins can get the win, Florida Manager Jack McKeon could pass Fredi Gonzalez for the franchise record for wins with the team. He is currently tied with 276 victories.

The Nationals are also honoring the late great Roberto Clemente at the game. Comment on the game here and follow live stats here.
