Michael Morse, Rick Ankiel move rehab to Hagerstown

Michael Morse and Rick Ankiel will continue their rehab assignments tonight at Class A Hagerstown. The move from Class AA Harrisburg is purely logistical – Hagerstown is playing at home and Harrisburg, which opened at Bowie, will travel to New Britain, Conn. Hagerstown will play Lexington tonight at 7:05 p.m.

Morse is eligible to come off the disabled list tomorrow, but he has yet to play a full nine innings, which Manager Davey Johnson said is a requirement. Ankiel can return April 14, 15 days after the Nationals added him to their 40-man roster.

In three games at Harrisburg, Morse went 3 for 8 with a walk, a home run and a double. In four games, Ankiel is 3 for 9 with two walks and two homers.
