Nationals-Braves postponed by weather

The Nationals announced they have postponed Friday night’s game with the Braves due to severe weather. The Nationals have not made anything official in regard to a make-up date and will announce the plan in coming days. Manager Davey Johnson said he thinks the teams will reschedule it for some time in August.

The Nationals will keep their same rotation, wtih Stephen Strasburg now pitching on Saturday and Gio Gonzalez going on Sunday. The Braves will skip Mike Minor, tonight’s scheduled starter, and pitching Brandon Beachy on Saturday and Tommy Hanson on Sunday.
