The Nationals are riding a five-game losing streak, tied for the longest of the season. They’ve played uneven baseball and scored only six runs during the skid. They’ll send Ross Detwiler (7-6, 3.25 ERA) to the mound to hopefully end it. The left-hander will oppose right-hander Jacob Turner (1-2, 6.87 ERA), who is making only his second start of the season and was acquired in the July trade with the Tigers that involved Anibal Sanchez, Omar Infante and others.

As usual, discuss the game here. And follow the action here.
