Jayson Werth is out of the Nationals starting lineup for the second time this season. The timing will give Werth two straight days off, including tomorrow’s off day before the Nationals begin a three-game series in Atlanta. Werth does not to seem to have any significant concerns, though he does wrap his left knee in ice following each game. Werth is also 2 for 22 with 15 strikeouts against Marlins starter Anibal Sanchez.

Michael Morse is back in the lineup, playing left, while Laynce Nix is playing right field for Werth. And Roger Bernadina is back in the leadoff spot.
