Today’s Nationals-Marlins lineups

The storyline behind the Nationals-Marlins series that begins tonight, surely, will be the ages of the manager. Davey Johnson, 68, and Jack McKeon, 80, will combine to be the oldest combination managing in the same game since 1950.

As for the lineup Johnson will put out there, it’s standard. Laynce Nix is back in the lineup against Marlins right-hander Ricky Nolasco. With six starts remaining before he is shut down for the season, Jordan Zimmermann will make his second appearance of the second half.
