Today’s Nationals-Mets lineups

At least on the initial lineup card, Jayson Werth is playing right field and Rick Ankiel is playing right. The Nationals lineup actually looked like that Sunday, too, but when the game started, Werth took center and Ankiel played right. Manager Davey Johnson explained that bench coach Pat Corrales just jumped the gun and wrote out that day’s lineup before Johnson had a chance to chat with Werth.

Chien-Ming Wang will make his first start back in New York since the Yankees let him go after the 2009 season.
