Today’s Nationals-Phillies lineups: No Michael Morse

Michael Morse is out of the lineup tonight after leaving yesterday’s game with a left elbow contusion, leaving Laynce Nix Brian Bixler to play first base against Phillies left-hander Cole Hamels.

Depending on how available Morse is, the Nationals, still carrying eight relievers, could be playing with a three-man bench. Also, Jonny Gomes will bat cleanup with Morse out.
