Michael Morse, who was out yesterday with inflammation in his left elbow, is back in the lineup after he came off the bench as a pinch-hitter last night. Manager Davey Johnson also moved Jayson Werth to sixth, which may have to do with Laynce Nix’s oustanding career numbers against Roy Oswalt — he’s 11 for 25 with four doubles and three homers.
